R.i.P MiCHAEL JACKSON

We have lost THE GREATEST performer alive. Not only of the african american culture, but of all races. My heart and love goes out to the family, especially his kids: Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson. It's sad that the world couldn't appreciate him this much when he was alive where he could appreciate all the things that everyone is doing for him. I have shed quite a few tears over his death, beacuse he was apart of alot of families, including mine. Michael Jackson is finally at peace of all the media's lies, but that never EVER stopped him from shining. Katherine and Joe Jackson. You did a wonderful job raising your kids and making them want to be something. It's time for all african american people to realize that we can be something and own our own businesses. It's time that I stop seeing our brothers and sisters in jail cells and selling dope. I want all of us to be something and to stop dropping out of school. Now, you can't make it in life without a high school diploma. Go to college, find your dream...and acheive it.

T.I. Road to Redemption

Clifford (T.I.) Harris is a well known rapper of 2008 and 2009.
T.I. was required to do 1,000 hours of community service. As apart of that he had a show called "T.I. Road to Redemption". The plot for the show was to help troubled teens that were involved in gang banging and in the wrong crowd be better people and to learn from his own mistakes. He also showed them where they would end up in the future if they didn't change. One male nicknamed Pee-Wee was chosen to go with T.I. ,and another young man T.I. was helping,Trey, to go to Washington D.C. Pee-Wee told T.I. that he couldn't come with them for some reason. Later he found out that Pee-Wee had gotten shot the day he was supposed to be in D.C. with T.I. He changed alot of young lives through that series. After he new that they had changed and kept there word to him, he had given each of them a gift. T.I.'s good out-weighed the negativity. I love his album "Paper Trail" and I love him. Beyonce's Success of 2008-2009

Beyonce Knowles has come very far in the years 2008 and 2009.
First, she came out with her hit album "Beyonce...I AM SASHA FIERCE" and everyone had to have it including me. Beyonce's music was being played everywhere and atleast a couple times everyday on the radio. She was then filmed in a movie entitled "Obsessed" which everyone I knew went to see. It was an awsome movie with love & drama. Who would wanna miss seeing Beyonce whoop that girls butt.Laugh out loud. Beyonce then was on the cover of Forbes magazine as one of the top money makers of 2008, she was number 5. Last, she was filmed in a commercial in partnering with "Hamburger Helper" as apart to feed starving people around the world. Beyonce is one of our African Americans that are truly, truly successful. When I look at her or listen to her music I know I can do anything if I put my mind to it, and you can too.

My Types of Music

Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Gospel are the main types of music that I listen to.
I love all music EXCEPT opera. Ugh! I can't stand opera. I love Micahel Jackson...I mean who doesn't right. I listen to alot of old school music such as: Average White Band, Earth Wind & Fire, and many more! I love all of Beyonce's songs. Especially off her album "I AM SASHA FIERCE". T.I. out did himself in 2008 with his album "Paper Trail". I absolutely love that album. Keyshia Cole is so original with her love songs...I can sing my heart out everytime I listen to one. This blog is for my favorite types of music and I would like for y'all to share with me you favorite music selections.
